Our Chamber focuses on presenting investment opportunities in our province for new business formations, informing businessmen and providing facilities in commercial relations. For this purpose, our Chamber communicates information on both domestic and international fairs to our members through announcements and our website and follows up the participation organizations for fairs that demand group participation or visit.
Diplomatic mission representatives and other foreign guests visiting our Chamber are supported in the creation of Izmir programs; they are provided with information introducing our region and mutual company meetings and/or company visits are organized. In addition, our Chamber organizes trade delegation organizations to be carried out abroad on a sectoral basis. These activities contribute to the creation of cooperation and investment opportunities for our industrialists. Company representatives who are members of our Chamber can participate in our foreign travel organizations and delegation organizations organized in our Chamber.
Developments in foreign trade, current issues related to the European Union are followed and conferences, seminars and meetings are organized in our Chamber in this context. Meeting organizations are open to the participation of all relevant officials from other institutions and organizations, especially our Chamber members.
The events and projects organized by our Chamber on multilateral country relations and international trade issues in Turkey and abroad are followed. Our Chamber is a member of the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME). Our Chamber has participated in many projects and trainings of the European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres).
Our Chamber has been the representative of the Foreign Economic Relations Board-DEIK since 2008. In this context, events are organized in our Chamber in cooperation with various business councils within DEIK and participation is provided in various DEIK events organized in Istanbul.
The events, fair organizations, tenders and company promotions communicated to our Chamber from various domestic and foreign institutions and organizations are also delivered to our members through the e-bulletin published weekly on our website.
